Bio Bidet model BB-500
Service Manual and Part List

2. FUNCTIONS

1) Water flow

(1) Water is supplied via the T-valve and is filtered of impurities before entering the unit.

According to the level sensor, the solenoid turns ON and OFF which in turn allows

the water to flow in to the unit’s water tank.

(2) Once the water is inside the unit’s water tank, it is stored in an even level with no

water pressure.

(3) When the unit is operated, the built-in water pump pumps up the water and water

is ejected through the nozzle.

2) Warm Water Functions

(1) Back and Front operations.

Press the Back/Front button and the relative function will operate for one minute.

When in operation, the nozzle position and water pressure are different for each function

(Back / Front).

(2) Move function

Press the Back/Front button and the relative function will operate with the nozzle moving

automatically back and forth enabling wider cleansing.

Press the button again and the move function will stop leaving the nozzle in a fixed position.

(3) Nozzle position adjustment

Nozzle position is adjustable to the desired position by pressing FR or BK switch. (5 positions)

(4) Water pressure adjustment

Water pressure is adjustable to the desired level by pressing either HI or LO switch. (5 levels)

(5) Temperature adjustment

Water temperature is adjustable to the desired level by pressing the WATER switch. (4 levels)

The maximum temperature is 40℃

(6) Nozzle cleaning

When cleaning the nozzle manually, press the Cleaning button and the nozzle will come

out staying at a fixed position.

Press the button again and the nozzle will go back to its original position inside the unit.

(7) Self-cleaning nozzle

Before and after each operation, the nozzle cleans it self automatically.

(8) Soft start

When the water starts spraying, the water pressure increases gradually to the set level.

(9) Back flow prevention safety device

A back flow prevention valve installed inside the tank prevents water from flowing backwards

when the water supply is shut off.

(10) Safety device for overheating of the water heater.

When the water heater is abnormally over heated, first the thermal switch will operate which

in turn cuts power to the heater. If the thermal switch should fail, the thermal fuse installed

on the heater will blow out disconnecting all power to the heater.

(11) Safety device for overheating of the empty tank

If there is no water in the tank, the level sensor prevents the operating of the water heater.

(CAUTION: If the unit is tilted sideways while the power is connected without any water in

the tank, this might cause the level sensor to miscalculate and operate the heater.)

(12) Freeze prevention

During cold weathers, water in the tank may freeze if the warm water temperature setting is

turned off.

To prevent this from happening, operate the temperature settings (LO or HI) during winter

seasons and empty the tank when not using the unit for long periods.

3) Dryer Function

(1) Dryer operation.

Press the Dry button and the dryer function will operate for three minutes.

If you gently wipe off the water with some tissue, it will quicken the drying operation.

(2) Warm air temperature adjustment

Warm air temperature is adjustable to the desired level by pressing either HI or LO switch.

There are five different temperature settings and the maximum temperature is 60℃.

(3) Safety device for overheating of the dryer heater.

When the seat heater is abnormally overheated, the thermal fuse blows out.

4) Warm Seat Function

(1) Seat temperature adjustment

Seat temperature is adjustable to the desired level by pressing the SEAT switch.

The maximum temperature is 40℃.

(2) Safety device for overheating of the seat heater.

When the seat heater is abnormally overheated, the thermal fuse blows out.

5) ELB (Electric Leakage Breaker)

ELB installed inside the unit disconnects all circuits if any electric leakage should occur.

6) Slow down function of seat and cover

Hydraulic dampers installed at the joints allow the seat and cover to close softly.

7) Overcurrent prevention safety device

If there is overcurrent in the circuit, the current fuse will blow out.

8) ON/OFF switch

The OFF switch will disconnect power to the unit.  If power outage should occur while the unit is ON, the unit will go back to the ON status when the power is restored.
